Riots and Graffiti

The riots in the country were happening one of the through-ways I needed to be on to get to the airport. It was interesting to watch, to understand the historical context of it, and yet to be totally outside of it at the same time.

My time in Bogota was too short and I would see nothing that I didn't see from a car. We were going to take a detour to a local park before one of our conferences but time, the riots making the traffic bad, and the slow pace of lunch in the city made it impossible.

I took pictures from the road, the vibrancy of riots, the splash of art in the form of graffiti.

All of a piece.

All beautiful.
